NOTE: Hunter Safety Mentoring Exemption Anyone 16 years of age or older and born after May 31, 1975 can hunt under the supervision of a licensed hunter, 21 years of age or older, without having to complete the state's hunter safety certification.
Hunting Licenses are annual permits that expire 12 months from the date of purchase:

- Resident Sportsman $80.50

- Resident Gold Sportsman $100.00

- Resident Military Gold Sportsman License $20.00
(Includes same privileges as Gold Sportsman. Available to any resident of Florida who is an active or retired member of the United States Armed Forces, the United States Armed Forces Reserve, the Florida National Guard, the United States Coast Guard, or the United States Coast Guard Reserve. This license may not be purchased by military dependents. Call the office to see what identification is required.)
- Special-opportunity hunts $150.00 /day, $300.00 /week (to be determined by FWC Commissioners)
